Who Are We?

Mumbles Christadelphian Ecclesia is a group of Christadelphians who meet in Mumbles, Swansea, UK. We invite you to browse around and find out a little bit about us and our beliefs. You will always be very welcome at any of our meetings, including Sunday School at 9.15 a.m. on Sundays (during local school term times), when there are classes for all ages including adults. At 6 p.m. on most Sundays, there are Bible talks aimed at the general public. The time is changed to 10.30 for 11 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month.

God’s promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are at the heart of the Gospel. Galatians 3:8, 16 and 29 Romans 15:8, 2 Peter 1:4

The Kingdom of God existed in the past (known as the Kingdom of Israel) and will be restored for the benefit of the whole world in the future. Luke 1:32-33 Zechariah 2:11-12

Man is mortal and dies because of sin. The dead are unconscious; there is no immortal soul. Romans 5:12 James 1:14-15 Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 Ezekiel 18:4

Jesus Christ. was Son of God and Son of Man, sharing our human nature and tempted in the same way as we are - but without sinning. He died for us, acknowledging that the nature he bore was rightly related to death. Hebrews 2:14, 4:15, John 1:29, Romans 3:23-26

God raised Jesus from the dead and he is now immortal, sitting at God’s right hand in heaven, active on behalf of believers. Acts 2:24, Ephesians 1:20-2, 1 Corinthians 15:17

Jesus will return to the earth and there will be a resurrection and judgement of those who are responsible because they have come to know God’s word. 1 Thessalonians 4:16, Acts 1:9-11, 2 Timothy 4:1,

Through belief and baptism into Christ by full immersion and living a faithful and Godly life, an individual grasps the gift of eternal life and the hope of a place in God’s Kingdom when Jesus returns. Mark 16:15-16, Galatians 3:29, Daniel 7:18,27, Romans 6:3-4
